- Buy gathering bags! Mining bag first, then lumberjacking ideally
- Buy armor. Grind goblins early for early gear.
- Weapons are the best source of damage stats. Gear is more for mitigation and primary stats.
- Level 0-9 you can only wear novice or tier 1 gear. 10-19 apprentice 20-25 journeyman. The power spike every 10 levels from gear is significant.
- buy artisan gear, HOWEVER IT DOES NOT APPEAR TO ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING YET
- Repair items, repair tools at any vendor
- You do not get the starting gathering tools until you finish the sweat of your brow quest now. You used to get them automatically at the start.
- Fishing is in Skill Tree, Skill Book Tab, Artisan Tab on the left side can do AFK, free XP. Around a 30 minute AFK timer right now.
- Cotton is part of the Farming Profession, buy the seeds from the vendor
- Don’t run from Wolves, fight them. Don’t run through a wolf pack. You will die.
- Don’t underestimate the early power boost of fruit salad and the scribing buffs
- Be sure to allocate new points in your class tree as well as both weapon trees, and the universal tree
- Both weapon finishers can proc their finisher effect, so be sure to equip melee and ranged weapons and put in talent points. You also gain XP on both weapons simultaneously. Make sure to equip your secondary weapon immediately at the start of the game.
- The artisan POI vendors have more items for sale than gerald belfort in lionhold and those items are sold without tax like they are in lionhold
- Corruption is absolutely brutal and probably overtuned
- Always set your new respawn point when moving around (Called Embersprings now)
- Don’t forget to dodge and active block
- Guild Creation is done via the Guild Scroll with an item from the Guild Manager in the materials tab, and stuff from alchemy and scribing
